The threat of terrorism, extremism and radicalisation is ever-present. The guise that danger takes is also always evolving, so this theme requires constant attention. It is important to regularly reflect on the results of Dutch policy and legislation aimed at combating and preventing terrorism. Do the measures still suit the current threats? Can the way terrorism is being dealt with be improved? The WODC conducts academic research in this field.
