We want everyone to be able to use this website. That is why we pay a lot of attention to user-friendliness, accessibility and findability of online information. Do you come across a page that is not accessible? Please tell us about it.
An accessible website can be used by all target groups, without limitations. Therefore there are particular functional and editorial accessibility requirements for government websites. These are laid down in accessibility standard EN 301 549.
Ensuring accessibility
We ensure good accessibility by implementing a number of measures in our (daily) processes:
- Accessibility by design: accessibility is part of all steps in the design, construction and editorial process of our website from the start. We also explicitly take into account user-friendliness and findability.
- Research: independent experts periodically check the website for accessibility. We resolve bottlenecks found in a sustainable manner.
- Specific research into documents: independent experts test documents for accessibility.
