Drug dealers and users can be a source of serious disturbances, for example in the vicinity of Dutch ‘coffee shops’. Cannabis farms, drug laboratories and illegal dumping of waste in rural areas or city sewers also cause disturbance. So what can we do to address these problems? What is the real scale of drug use in our society? The WODC is involved in numerous studies on drug-related crime.
