Summary

Due to international and international legislation, many European countries offer a temporary residency permit to victims of human trafficking who are not EU-nationals and who are staying irregularly. This report contains the findings of an exploratory study into the residency regulations for victims of human trafficking in the United Kingdom, Italy and Belgium, and the scope and nature of possible misuse thereof, as well as into how these countries try to tackle and prevent the potential problem.
