2006 Trend report notarial practice

2006 Trend report notarial practice

The accessibility, continuity and quality of notarial services (full text available only in Dutch)

Summary

The entry into force of the Dutch Notaries Act in 1999 introduced greater free market operation in the notarial profession. This was supposed to result in 'acceptable fees', and better quality services. The Ministry of Justice wants to monitor the developments in respect of accessibility, continuity and quality of services rendered by the notarial profession within this framework. The first notarial practice trend report was completed at the end of 2004. This is the second report.
