Migration to and from the Netherlands

a first example of the Migration Chart

Summary

In this report, the authors have mapped out the size and backgrounds of migration streams to and from the Netherlands since the year 2000 and provided explanations for the distribution of migrants across Europe. Two types of migration that have been the focus of both government policy and the political/public debate are emphasized: labour migration and asylum migration.
