The central question of this research is:
Is the regulation of articles 57-63 of the Dutch Criminal Code (the regulation on the concurrence of offences) still adequate, with regard to present views (on legal dogmatics, jurisprudence and practice) on the application of concurrence of offences in sentencing and the circumstances surrounding (technological) developments in the field of forensic evidence?
