(full text available only in Dutch)

Summary

Other than abroad, the victim-offender interviews in the Netherlands were originally intended as a facility for victims. It was not going to become a facility within criminal law, as that would make it possible to use it to influence criminal proceedings.
The research questions relate to the following themes:
1. National implementation.
2. The achieved scope of the victim-offender interviews on offer.
3. The primary work process and uniformity in execution.
4. The relationship with the criminal proceedings.
5. The preparation of any effects study.
