(full text available only in Dutch)

Summary

In recent years the Dutch government has developed a new warning and alarm system for crises and emergencies, called NL-Alert. It uses cell broadcast techniques, meaning that messages are sent through the radio masts of cellphone providers. The object of this survey is to provide insight into the extent that people can receive messages through NL-Alert and how they think about this sort of warning system.
