Summary

The three Dutch distinct probation organizations employ community service orders and supervise individuals serving suspended sentences or other penal measures containing judicial restrictions. This report gives an account of the first steps in the development of a system of periodical measurements of these groups of probationers. It describes the trends tin the recidivism figures of these groups of probationers and entails an in-depth analysis of the reconviction rates relating to the sanctions.
