Summary
The Directorate General of Police (DG Police) of the Ministry of Security and Justice requires information about the capacity the police spends on actions that stem from the behaviour of confused persons and the nature, quality and achievement of objectives of the collaboration between the police and mental health care services and the meaning of the covenant in this. The central definition of the problem is: How much of its capacity does the police spend on actions that are the result of problematic behaviour of confused persons and to what extent do the police and mental health care services make efficient and effective use of each other’s competencies and authorities?
