Evaluation of the Personal Data Protection Act

Law and policy / Protection of personal data act

Evaluation of the Personal Data Protection Act

first phase

Summary

The aim of the evaluation is to describe whether and if so, in what way, the Personal Data Protection Act [Wet bescherming persoonsgegevens, Wbp] contributes towards the envisaged objectives of the Act and what bottlenecks have arisen in practice. Due to the number of areas to which the Personal Data Protection Act applies, the evaluation of the Act will take place in two stages. Phase 1 will serve to provide building blocks to facilitate the further development of the second phase of the evaluation study.
