Visitors have to make an appointment and show an official ID when they visit the ministry!
- From The Hague Central Station, it is a 3-minute walk to the ministry. You leave the station at ‘Spoor 1’ (Platform 1) and take the covered pedestrian route to ‘Centrum’. The Ministry of Justice and Security and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations are at your left after 150 metres. You will recognise them by the red and white towers. The main entrance (iron gate) is accessible via the garden at Turfmarkt.
- From Hollands Spoor Station, you can take tram 1, 8, 9, 15, 16 or 17 or bus 18 to the ministry. You get off at Central Station.
- You can take the A12 motorway for The Hague, entering The Hague via Utrechtse Baan. You take the Centrum exit (exit 2), turning left at the traffic lights across the Prins Bernhard flyover. You pass the Central Station, the Ministry of Justice and Security and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations on your right hand side.
- The Ministry of Justice and Security has no visitor parking. The nearest public car park (not free) is ‘parking Spui / Turfmarkt’. This car park is clearly indicated on the signs.
